TimeSense now supports multiple languages.

In addition to Japanese and English, it is now available in Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Korean, and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified).

TimeSense is a learning clock, visual timer, and voice guidance app that helps children understand “how much time is left” more intuitively.

It combines an analog clock with a visual countdown timer, while gentle character voices help make transitions smoother during morning routines, bedtime, homework, and the end of games or videos.

Making TimeSense Easier to Use for Families Around the World

TimeSense has been gradually reaching more families in Japan, and more recently we have also started receiving reviews and feedback from families overseas.

Requests for French support were one of the reasons we decided to move forward with this multilingual release.

TimeSense originally started from a simple wish in my own parenting life: to say “Hurry up” a little less often.

But the goal is not to replace parents with an app and make children obey instructions.

The real goal is to help children notice the remaining time, understand what comes next, and gradually learn to shift their own behavior.

We hope TimeSense can help build the habit of looking at time and acting on their own in everyday life.

That idea feels universal across many families, even when language and daily routines are different.

We would be very happy if TimeSense becomes easier to use for families living abroad and for multilingual households.

Not Just the Interface, but Voice Guidance Too

This update adds multilingual support not only to the app interface, but also to the character voice guidance.

Time reminders, countdown prompts, and gentle phrases for routines like getting ready in the morning or preparing for bed are now available in multiple languages.

Rather than translating Japanese word for word, we focused on expressions that sound natural for children and feel comfortable in daily life.

Supported Languages

TimeSense currently supports the following languages:

  • Japanese
  • English
  • Spanish
  • Portuguese
  • German
  • French
  • Korean
  • Chinese (Traditional and Simplified)

The in-app display language switches automatically based on your device language settings.

We Will Keep Improving with User Feedback

This multilingual release is not the final step.

As more families use TimeSense, we believe there is still room to improve natural phrasing and adapt better to different countries, regions, and daily habits.

TimeSense started from my own parenting challenges, but it is gradually reaching families outside Japan as well.

We will keep listening carefully to feedback and continue improving TimeSense so children can better understand “how much time is left,” know what comes next, and move into the next action more smoothly on their own.
